The Community Emergency Radio Association is extremely honored to be selected by the Women's Fund El Dorado Grant Committee to move onto the next round of consideration for our grant application for a backup generator to add resiliency and harden our radio repeater that services the Pollock Pines-Camino areas.

CERA will be attending WFED's Ballot Showcase to describe our mission, our Neighborhood Radio Watch program, and why using radios for backup is important during emergencies, especially when cell and internet services are disrupted.

The event is open to WFED members and will be held in the Marshall Building  at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, located at 100 Placerville Drive, Placerville, CA. Please stop by to learn more about why a grant from WFED will benefit communities that need us the most.
